These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the services and website of DB Auto Logistics . By accessing our website or engaging our shipping and logistics services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
DB Auto Logistics specializes in international shipping and logistics services from the United States to Europe, including but not limited to:
● International auto transport
● Boat shipments
● Heavy machinery and specialty equipment transport
● Door-to-door pickup and delivery services
While we make every effort to ensure timely and secure transport, delivery times are estimates and may be affected by external factors such as customs inspections, port congestion, strikes, or adverse weather.
2. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
● All quotes provided are estimates based on the information provided by the Customer. Final costs may vary depending on cargo size, weight, destination, and unforeseen expenses.
● A deposit may be required to confirm bookings.
● Full payment must be received before final release or delivery of cargo.
● Payments not received on time may result in delays or cancellation of services.
3. Customer Responsibilities
● The Customer must provide accurate and complete shipment details, including cargo description, condition, dimensions, and weight.
● The Customer is responsible for supplying all necessary documents, including but not limited to titles, bills of sale, export/import forms, and customs declarations.
● Vehicles and equipment must be prepared in compliance with shipping requirements (e.g., drained of fuel, disconnected batteries, removal of unauthorized personal belongings).
4. Liability and Insurance
● DB Auto Logistics exercises reasonable care in handling and coordinating shipments but is not liable for damages, delays, or losses arising from third-party carriers, shipping lines, customs agencies, or other external parties.
● Standard carrier liability is limited under international conventions and applicable law.
● The Customer is strongly encouraged to obtain adequate cargo insurance. Insurance may be available through DB Auto Logistics upon request but must be confirmed in writing prior to shipment.
5. Customs and Compliance
● The Customer is solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations.
● DB Auto Logistics facilitates customs processes but is not liable for denied entry, penalties, or seizures due to inaccurate or incomplete documentation provided by the Customer.
6. Delays and Force Majeure
DB Auto Logistics shall not be held responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, port closures, wars, government actions, or pandemics.
7. Claims and Dispute Resolution
● Any claims for loss or damage must be submitted within 7 days of delivery in the form of an email, showing pictures and videos of the damage upon arrival.
● Disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to mediation or binding arbitration in New York, USA, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
8. Website Use
● All content on our website, including text, logos, and images, is the property of DB Auto Logistics and may not be reproduced without written permission.
● You may not misuse the website by introducing viruses, attempting unauthorized access, or engaging in unlawful activity.
● We disclaim liability for errors or omissions in website content.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, USA.
